We understand you may have questions about the Fiji workshop experience.

Please refer to the FAQs below in the first instance. If you still have questions after that, feel free to reach out - we’re happy to assist.

Can I extend my stay?
  • Yes! You can add up to three nights before or three nights after the workshop at the special workshop rate (subject to availability). However, this is only for the room types included in the registration package. Please note availability is limited, particularly on the weekend following the workshop, so early registration is recommended. To request additional nights, simply indicate your preference during registration. Once your extension is confirmed, we’ll send you a payment link—payment must be completed within 48 hours.
  • Should you wish to stay longer than three days pre, or post, we are unable to offer the workshop room rate, and the additional nights will be treated as a secondary booking to your ARGANZ Workshop registration. A link will be provided to book directly with the hotel, but please include 'ARGANZ' in the comment box during your online reservation so that both your bookings can be linked.
Can I upgrade my room during the workshop?
  • No, room upgrades aren’t available during workshop dates due to contractual obligations. However, you can request a different room type for any pre- or post-workshop nights when booking. Add your preferred room type to your booking notes and we will request that on your behalf with the Hotel.
  • Room rates for any upgrades, outside of the room types held by ARGANZ will be the best available rate at the time of request.
  • If confirmed, you’ll receive a payment link to complete the transaction directly with the Hotel. This will be treated as a separate booking to your ARGANZ Workshop registration.
What’s included in my room rate?

Your room includes daily buffet breakfast in the Goji Kitchen, for a maximum of 2 adults, and 2 children <12 years of age. Additional guests over 12 years of age incur a fee of AU$80 per person per room per night (there is a maximum allowance in the rooms – see room descriptions for details).

Can I book an extra room for family?

Absolutely. Add this request during registration. We are unable to offer the workshop room rate, and the additional nights will be treated as a secondary booking to your ARGANZ Workshop registration. A link will be provided to book directly with the hotel, but please include 'ARGANZ' in the comment box during your online reservation so that both your bookings can be linked.

Can I skip a night and pay less?

Unfortunately not. Your registration includes all three nights to ensure full access to your room and resort facilities throughout the workshop. This is part of our contractual arrangements with the venue.

Why are there only these three room types available, when there are other options at the venue?

ARGANZ has secured these specific room types at heavily discounted rates exclusively for Workshop attendees. While the resort offers a wider range of accommodations, these rooms were chosen because they are conveniently located near the conference centre, ensuring easy access throughout the event.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel, and return?

We are partnering with two trusted transfer providers to make your journey as smooth as possible. Details on how to book your airport transfers will be included in your registration confirmation. Please note that transfers are at your own cost, and it is an approximate 60 min journey (one way).

My partner is also a Radiologist and wants to attend the workshop—how much do they pay?

Great news—they can join! The additional registration fee is AU$1,400 (early bird), or AU$1,600 (standard). You’ll need to contact us directly, and one full registration package with accommodation must be purchased. We’ll then add the extra registration for your partner upon request.

Can I book my own accommodation elsewhere and still attend the workshop?

Unfortunately not. To keep everyone together and meet venue commitments, accommodation must be booked through us.

I missed out on the accommodation options, or was put on a waiting list to attend the Workshop, but booked my accommodation independently—can I still attend the workshop?

Unfortunately not. Attendance is only available as part of the full package. Once our accommodation blocks are full and any unused rooms are released, we cannot accept further registrations or walk-ins.

Why do I need to pay up front?

To secure your spot and meet venue prepayment requirements.

Why is GST charged on my registration fee?
  • We are required by Australian law to charge Goods and Services Tax (GST) on the services we supply, which includes conference registrations for all attendees.
  • Even though the event is being held in Fiji, the supply of the registration is connected to Australia because it is made by an Australian entity. This means we must collect GST on the registration fee component of your booking and remit it to the Australian Taxation Office.
Is GST charged on my accommodation?

No. GST is not charged on the accommodation component of your delegate package. Under Australian tax law, the supply of accommodation is only subject to GST if the property is located in Australia. As your accommodation is in Fiji, this portion of your fee is not subject to GST. Your invoice will clearly outline the GST amount paid on your registration fee, and state that the accommodation has no GST.

Will I earn Marriott Bonvoy points?

Not for the rooms booked at the conference rate, as the booking is part of a group block managed by ARGANZ.
